Houston TX CASI. Annual Space City Pod Chili Cookoff. Held at Blanco's Bar & Grill, 3406 W. Alabama. Benefits The Women's Home. Chili, Omelet Cookoffs, CHILI GRIND ONLY, clothing drive. Metal sculpture chili trophies by renowned artist Mike Gilbert. Omelet trophies by renowned eggspert Dave Hall. Turn in Omelet 10 AM, Chili 12 Noon. Entry fee chili $20, $35 for both Saturday and Sunday, Omelet $10, Omelet JUDGING $10 (and worth it). Payable to Space City Pod. Plenty of RV parking, no hookups. Also, cook on Saturday.
